alisonI began playing tennis at the age of 6, a time when my parents were encouraging me to learn a variety of skills. I thoroughly enjoyed playing the game, so I continued, gradually playing in weekly competitions and socially. I am very thankful to have been introduced to this wonderful sport, in which I have learnt many important qualities such as perseverance and resilience. I believe that tennis is a sport for anyone and everyone, giving people the opportunity to socialise, challenge oneself and thoroughly enjoy physical activity. It is a great learning experience that provides life-long skills and friendships. As a coach, I whole-heartedly aim to assist and encourage each player to improve and achieve their goals in tennis.
